Beautiful hand-painted Imperial Regimental Beer Stein “presented” to Reservist Keil assigned to the 1th Battalion, 1st Field Artillery Regiment No 27 Oraniern in Mainz  – Gonsenheim. 1908. 10. Hand painted center motif of caisson pulling cannon above portrait of the Kaiser and Prussian Eagle flanked by Artillery guns and crew. Stein features slightly faded unit roster and shell rifling ring. Porcelain, painted scenes and thumb lift/top show very minor age/wear with no damage. Thumb lift consists of horse and rider with top/cover consisting of canon and simulated shell fuse with settings.   EX+/EX++
