UNIFORMEN MASSCHNEIDEREI, LOHR & ILG, BERLIN – W – 15, KAISERALLEE 208. Custom Tailor made Lieutenant Infantry Parade Tunic (Waffenrock) with auguilette, parade brocade belt and buckle, trousers, shoes, and dagger and over – the – shoulder carrying harness. Uniform is made of high quality doe-skin material and is complete white piped bullion collar tabs, shoulder boards and cuffs. Doe skin shows two very minor moth nips to the front and three to the back. All of the insignia is correctly machine sewn and original to the tunic and shows almost no soiling and colors remain bright with regimental ciphers: “13”. Breast eagle is hand sewn and grades MINT and is correctly attached having the thread not pierce the liner. Tunic includes loops for medal bar one badge to left breast most likely for an Iron Cross First Class based on the spacing between the loops. Artificial silk lining is complete with tailor’s label and name label inside breast pocket. Inside is complete with waste strap and buckle correctly sewn to liner. Tunic comes with originally attached, as found, officer’s bullion parade dress aiguillette which shows light age/wear and grades near MINT. Also included are a set of tailor made un-piped trousers and dress shoes which appear to have been resoled after the war. Ensemble is complete with over – the – shoulder carrying strap and unmarked dagger which grades EX++. Dagger shows only light age with later style fittings and white grip. Scabbard shows light wear/age but, no damage and is complete with standard set of Army hangers. Nice complete set recently purchased in Germany. EX++.
