Description
This Iron Cross 1st Class comes with its presentation case. The award is multi-piece construction with a blackened magnetic iron core, a ribbed border, and a raised swastika in the center with the date 1939 below. The reverse is plain with a vertical barrel hinge. The presentation case is covered in black leatherette embossed with a silver Iron Cross, metal hinge and spring catch, and the fabric interior base that is used to secure the medal. The case shows age and wear and a tiny rip in the hinge area. The medal has no damage or repairs and is in very good condition.
