Description
The Alcoso “scales” trademark. The blade has the standard Alcoso etched “Fur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” meaning “in remembrance of my time in service” in crisp detail. The hilt plating shows age/wear and has the red slot plug in place. The Bakelite grip plates are held by two steel rivets and show age but no nicks or chips. The nickel-plated steel long-style blade has minor runner marks and light graying but the tip of the blade remains in a point. The leather buffer pad is in place. The black scabbard has some indentations throughout and appears to be repainted.
