Large 11″ x 14″ magazine, English text with photographs, dated 28 September 1916, printed by Leslie-Judge Company, New York, New York.  This large format magazine appears to be forerunner of the “Life” magazine with feature stories, world news and photographs, as well as advertisements.  Cover features full color illustration entitled, “Europe’s Emblems of Valor” to include British Victoria Cross, German Iron Cross and Croix De Guerr of France and Belgium, plus Rumanian, Serbian and Italian medals.  Included inside the magazine is a brief history and description of the above medals.  Light age and wear.  Nice medal reference.  Exc+
