Description
Stamped Knight’s helmet and Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie double-TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show minor surface wear/age patina, and minor plate lifting to the well-detailed eagle head pommel. The reverse side of crossguard has the matching markings “S.An. 318” that match the reverse upper scabbard fitting. Medium brown stag horn grip plates show light surface wear/age toning, but no cracks or chips with Third Reich Police grip emblem properly pinned to the obverse plate. Plated blade measuring 32.8cm in length grades EX+ with light runner marks/surface wear, gray speckling, some minor plate lifting mainly at the cutting edge or near the tip of the blade, and no damage to blade tip. Spine of blade is stamped with a “starburst over K” marking. Black leather scabbard shows light surface wear/scuffs, but no rips or tears, and no damage to the reverse stitching. Nickel-plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear/scratches, but no damage to the lower ball. The upper and lower fittings are complete with the retaining staple. The brown leather frog shows age/wear, appears to be slightly stiff, has triple-stitching that is intact, and 4 rivets in place.
