Description
Carl Eickhorn squirrel holding a sword trademark. Hilt fittings show wear/age but no lifting and a red slot plug is in place. The black Bakelite grip plates have one minor chip on the reverse side and the rivets are in place. The chrome blade is EXC++/Near MINT condition, no speckling/graying, has not been sharpened, no nicks to cutting edge and the tip seems to remain in a point. The black butter pad is in place. The scabbard shows much wear with scratches throughout and appears to maintain 75-80% of the paint. The ball on the scabbard appears to have no dents. The dark brown leather frog shows age/wear, is not missing any of the stitching and the rivets are intact. The dark gray leather portepee is tied to the frog, shows age and wear with one minor tear in the strap where it ties. The portepee has “LBA 37” stamped inside. The portepee seems to be in EXC++ condition.
