Stamped Trident within circle, (Ed. Wustof) TM. This quality detailed miniature, recently obtained in Germany, measures approximately 7 7/8″ in length. Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear with much factory lacquer/darkening to well-detailed pommel, ferrule, and crossguard. Light yellow celluloid grip is perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated blade grades EX++, showing light runner marks with minor lifting/crimping near tip and is without buffer pad. Obverse flat blade is jeweler-engraved with the name, “Alexanderwerk”. Dent-free scabbard retains approximately 95% of the factory frosted lacquer with only minor speckling to lacquer along edges of scabbard, superb detail to scabbard pebbling and to oak leaf embellished scabbard bands.
