Description
E. & F Hörster, Solingen 2-line TM. This miniature with an overall length of 8″ features plated hilt fittings showing light wear/age/patina with portions of factory lacquer/darkening remaining on the pommel, ferrule and crossguard. The medium orange grip, age toned darker on the obverse, has two small chips on the reverse adjacent to the pommel, but no hairline cracks. Grip is slightly loose on tang. The plated blade measuring 5 1/8″ in length grades EX++ showing minor wear/runner marks, but no nicks to cutting edges. The obverse blade features the advertising logo, George Pickel, Bamberg in block letters, and is without buffer pad. The dent-free, silver plated pebble scabbard shows light age patina with some minor speckling to the edges of the shell. (25571)
