Description
The Hunting dagger miniature is the rarest of the standard Third Reich miniatures. This dagger measures 26″ from tip of pommel to tip of blade. The double etched blade has the hunting scenes on both sides with no nicks to the cutting edge of the blade. The dagger has the silvered deer leg crossguard with hoof finials, scallop shell guard, a plain ferrule, and pommel with a rudimentary finial. It has a stag horn grip with hunting association insignia on the obverse side. Scabbard body is green leather with silver mounts and an acorn frog stud. There is a small scrape in the leather on the side as shown in picture.
