Description
The armband is made of fine woven fabric, which retains bright, beautiful original color. The center of the front of the armband has a black Nazi swastika emblem, machine stitched to a white backing. The white backing is zigzag stitched and has no damage or fraying. The armband has no rips or stains and no sign of wear, which is a hard-to-find condition. It is complete with a vintage business letterhead for the company Duer & Schafter, who were makers of textiles, woolen goods, and workwear. There is also a 1 Rentenmark German banknote issued by the Deutscher Rentenbank. The note is dated 30 January 1937. It was part of a transitional currency system introduced to stabilize the German economy after the hyperinflation of the early 1920s.
