Description

Carl Eickhorn, Solingen and squirrel double oval TM.  Silver-plated hilt fittings show very light surface wear with a beautiful medium “nicotine” brown patina and no damage to black enamel swastikas on the quillon block. Tip of right crossguard is caster stamped “K”.  Blue leather-covered grip shows surface wear/age.  Plated blade grades EX++ with spotting/speckling, but no damage. Blade is complete with original blue leather buffer pad.  Blue leather covered scabbard shows wear/age.  Silver-plated upper and lower scabbard fittings show beautifully patinated with one scratch on reverse upper fitting and ball on lower fitting is dented.   All scabbard screws are in place.  Scabbard throat is stamped with the DLV winged propeller, “N”, “364” and “96”.
