Description
E.P.S. (part of P and all of S removed), Solingen with Wagnerian figure wielding hammer TM. Nickel silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard NSKK Motor Group marked, SW for Sudwest. Light red-brown wooden grip shows light surface wear with no cracks or chips and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX showing surface wear/runner marks and light gray shadowing. Deeply etched motto retains 99% of the light gray background frosting. Reverse Röhm inscription has been ground away with no portions of letters in the dedication remaining. Steel scabbard shows surface wear with much speckling/crazing to the brown anodization and one dent. Dent-free nickel silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina with damage to the lower ball. Includes hanger which grades EX. Overall: EX-.
