Brass hilt fittings show surface wear and dark age patina to the pommel in the shape of a closed Simons’ crown, and crossguard featuring quillons of a lion’s head and a pickaxe/spade with an unadorned central quillon block. Light yellow, solid celluloid grip shows minor surface wear/light age speckling with two miniscule hairline cracks on the lower obverse adjacent to the ferrule, but no chips nicks and is complete with tight twisted brass wire wrap. Plain, nickel-plated, double-edged style blade grades EX+/EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks, but no lifting or nicks to cutting edges, and is complete with red felt buffer pad. Dent-free, black leather covered scabbard shows minor surface wear/age, but no rips or tears and no damage to the reverse seam. The scabbard is complete with upper and lower oak leaf embellished suspension bands with twisted rope rings, as well as a lower a scabbard fitting with obverse and reverse incised oak leaf motifs. All fittings show only minor surface wear with a silver colored Trudovaks emblem attached to the obverse shell between the scabbard bands. The ULTRA-RARE General Officer’s hangers grade EX++/Near MINT and feature gold bullion facings on black ribbon backings with pebbled gilt upper fitting, lower clips and oval buckles with stylized oak leaf motif.
