Description

Unmarked. A photograph of this pattern sword appears on page 124 of SWORDS OF GERMANY 1900/1945 by John R. Angolia as an Emil Voos pattern. Gilded brass hilt fittings show light wear to highlights of the well detailed pommel, oak leaf embellished backstrap and knuckle-bow with closed – wing eagle on obverse langet. The black celluloid grip shows only minor surface wear with no cracks or chips and is complete with tight twisted brass triple wire wrap. Curved, plated, blade grades EX+ showing minor surface wear and minor nicks to the cutting edge and is complete with leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, steel black scabbard shows surface wear but, no dents or damage and retains 97% of the original enamel. EX+/EX++
