Examples of this dagger are shown on pages 229 and 230 of World of Dress Daggers 1900-1945 by Robert Berger. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show light wear and features eagle head pommel with red eyes and excellent detailing. Crossguard has oak leaf pattern with down-turned quillion. Black, Bakelite grip is perfect with gilt crown and “C” cypher of King Carol II (1930 -1940) attached to obverse grip plate. Plated, stiletto-type blade measures 5 1/2″ and shows light surface wear with no lifting to plating. Nickel-plated, dent-free, bayonet- style scabbard shows light surface wear but no lifting to plating. Exc+ (15973) HOLD
