Description
This nice example has the Russian crest on the obverse pommel. Obverse upper scabbard fitting features the star with sickle and hammer with oak leaves and a sunburst-type effect. Reverse has the Kremlin tower. The scabbard black leather is in excellent + condition as are all the fittings (missing one insert on top upper scabbard fitting), which show much of their original gilting. Blade is Exc++, is maker marked as well as marked with the serial number on the reverse. Top pommel nut has the Russian star. Complete with black buffer pad. Very nice example!
