Description
Double RZM marked “RZM 7/81” and RZM 1241/39 SS” on reverse blade ricasso. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age. Grip shows light wear with eagle and SS insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX++ with deeply etched SS motto inscription which retains 98% of the gray background frosting. The blade has pitting along the cutting edge and the blade point remains intact. Dent-free steel scabbard retains 98% of its paint. Nickel–silver scabbard fittings show very light surface wear with no damage to lower ball. All 4 screws remain in place. This dagger was purchased when (Dec) LTC Thomas Johnson was still alive and was found in inventory never to have been listed on our website until now.
