Description
Nickel-Silver hilt fittings with lower crossguard marked “FR”. Light runner marks on blade with light speckling but no pitting or lifting. Blade grades Ex+/Exc++ and appears to be buffed out on the reverse side of blade as the maker mark is 1/2 missing on one side of the blade. Brown grip handle shows light wear with indentations in the lower obverse and upper reverse side of the grip but no cracks or chips. SA insert is properly inset. Deeply etched motto retains 98% of light gray background frosting. Dent free scabbard shows light surface wear and retains 85% of original paint with minor depressions on obverse side of lower fitting and to lower ball. Early nickel clip and brown strap and nickel oval buckle is in Exc++ condition.
