Pet. Dan. Krebs Solingen around the sides of a shield w/a stamped crayfish inside shield TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show no wear with no lifting or pitting to pommel, ferrule or knuckle-bow. Pommel cap, with raised cast SS Runes, retains 100% of the factory darkened background. Underside of crossguard is not SS proofmarked. Black wooden grip shows minor surface wear to black factory finish on highlights of several grip swirls, but no cracks or chips. Polished, straight, matte finished blade measuring 33” in length grades MINT showing no wear, graying, pitting or nicks to cutting edge and is complete with white leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 99% of the original black enamel with only a few tiny surface scratches, but no crazing or lifting to paint. Nickel-plated upper scabbard fitting shows minor age with virtually 100% of the black enamel in the recesses of the scrollwork design. Scabbard throat is SS proofmarked. Sword is complete with original mouse gray felt storage bag with minor mothing, but no rips, tears or repairs, and is complete with original tie string.
