Klitterman & Moog, Haan, Solingen TM. Very rare SS dagger with an exclamation point at the end of the motto. Early nickel/silver fittings. Lower reverse crossguard stamped “I” and upper reverse crossguard is numbered “72909”. We have identified the SS officer as Ulrich Griefelt who reached the rank of SS-Obergruppenführer und General der Polizei on 30 January 1944. Some minor wear to the fittings on the scabbard, but no denting. Very rare SS dagger! EX+
