This book covers the history of the Stars & Stripes newspaper from its beginning in England on 18 April 1942 through the North African Campaign and into Europe to the Final Occupation edition in Pfungstadt, Germany. Has many interesting photographs/information, as well as Bill Malden, “Willy & Joe” cartoons. A letter from the editor is included with the book. Age/tears to the dust jacket, no missing pages.
