Description
This 9 ¾” X 13”unframed, black and white portrait on cardboard backing features a young seaman in blue undress uniform with blue shirt collar and silk neckerchief with white ribbon. The seaman is wearing the blue sailor’s cap with two-piece nation insigne and Kriegsmarine Cap Ribbon, but without the regulation stiffener. The reverse of the portrait is ink stamped, “9 Jul 1941” and “Gordon Studios/Spuistraat 68/DEN HAAG”. Portrait grades Near MINT with no age, tears or damage.
