Although unmarked, these unissued belt buckles were found in the original cardboard carton, which has been lost to time, with a label imprinted, “F. W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid”, and appear in the Assmann Sales Catalog as item Nr. 23803. These gilded, cast-brass buckles measure 3.5cm in diameter. Buckles show minor spots of age discoloration.
