Description

GEBR. HELLER, MARIENTHAL, b. SCHWEINA/THR. with balloon man TM.  Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear and aged patina.  Tip of right crossguard is caster stamped “K”. Bottom of crossguard is stamped “T.S.5” on the left and “448” on the right. Blue leather-covered grip shows almost no surface wear.  Plated blade grades EX++ with runner marks and very faint speckling/graying throughout, but no damage to the cutting edges and is complete with buffer pad.  Blue leather covered scabbard shows almost no surface wear with age patina to the fittings and bottom of ball is dented. Scabbard throat is stamped with the NSFK Icarus with swastika.  All 4 scabbard screws are in place.
