Description
RZM M7/66 – 1939 over the Eickhorn Squirrel holding sword TM. The blade has light speckling/graying throughout, has a couple tiny nicks to the cutting edge, the “Ulles fur Deutschland” motto retains it gray frosting, and the tip of blade remains in a point. The crossguards are nickel-plated and have a bright finish and some tiny lifting. The grip is a dark medium brown wood with some very minor indentations, two hairline cracks (one on the reverse lower area near the crossguard and one on the obverse side above the SA roundel), and one chip on the obverse lower area near the crossguard. The aluminum eagle insert and SA roundel are properly inset. The scabbard retains approximately 40-50% of its paint and no dents. The scabbard fittings has some minor scratches but no nicks and the tip of the ball is dent free. All 4 scabbard screws are in place. Complete with a black leather hanger that shows some wear/age and “RZM M5/71” marked clip which works properly.
