Description
Maker marked “Original Carl Eickhorn” with etched squirrel holding sword TM. The blade has very light speckling, no nicks to the cutting edge and retains its pointed tip. The hilt shows age/wear and dark patina. The dark orange grip with a slight lighter tone to the reverse side, and has a couple very tiny nicks to the obverse side. This is an exceptional looking grip. The pebbled scabbard has dark patina and no dents. Scabbard has both hanger bands and o-rings in place. The silver portepee has some fraying in one section on the left side of crossguard, and the tip of the acorn appears to be gold threading.
