Description
Paul Weyersberg & Co./Solingen in double ovals around the firm’s trademark “Sword-and-Wreath” logo. Hilt fittings show age/wear with some lifting to the plating on the pommel and crossguard. The crossguard has the art deco stylized RLB eagle on obverse langet. Black wooden grip shows minor wear, 2 small indentations on the reverse side but no cracks or chips. 1st Pattern RLB insignia is properly pinned to the obverse grip and shows no wear to enamel. Blade grades EX+ showing light surface wear/runner marks and speckling but no nicks to the cutting edges or damage to the black leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains 95% of the original black enamel. Dent-free lower scabbard fitting shows minor wear with NO damage or dents. Dagger is complete with black leather hanger, leather shows much wear and the inside of clip is marked “DRGM”.
