PAUL WEYERSBERG, SOLINGEN in double oval with stylized sword and wreath TM. Gilded hilt fittings show surface wear and some darkening to the superbly detailed pommel, oak leaf embellished knuckle-bow and backstrap. Langet has out-stretched national emblem with a very unique swastika surrounded by a double wreath motif. Black celluloid grip shows almost no surface wear with one small chip to obverse center and triple twisted brass wire wrap present. Triple etched plated blade grades EX+/EX++ showing very minor wear/runner marks and some very minor nicks toward the tip. Obverse etch features generic design with closed winged Wehrmacht style eagle and helmet with crossed rifles. Reverse features outstretched eagle and helmet with crossed swords. Dent-free steel scabbard is re-painted and rates 92%. Scabbard has one minor dent toward the bottom. EX+/EX++.
