Description
Puma head above PUMA within diamond, Solingen TM. The blade has some speckling/graying throughout, no nicks to the cutting edge, the tip of the blade remains in a point, and complete with buffer pad. The black celluloid grip in excellent condition, tightly wrapped with triple aluminum wire. The hilt is all brass with the obverse langet an image of a closed-winged army eagle facing left gripping a swastika and the reverse langet has oak leaves under a plain raised rectangular shaped octagon, the pommel has the PUMA oak leaf and acorn pattern that extends to the back strap and “P” guard. The ricasso bears the marking “NO 3” on the obverse side and the head of a puma in a diamond with the inscription “Puma Solingen” on the reverse side. The black painted scabbard is original with minor scratching on both sides, has both throat screws in place and large black hanger ring. Sword is complete with the sword knot in MINT condition and the green belt with attached brown leather belt hanger in EXC++ condition.
