Description
SMF SOLINGEN, seated king TM. This bayonet has the eagle head silhouette pommel with eagle feathering. The stag grip plates have a golden tone to the edges and the grip insignia is aluminum with the open winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika and the insignia is loose at the touch. The 9.5” blade is in EX++/ Near MINT condition, minor runner marks on both sides, and has black leather buffer pad. The black leather scabbard is sewn up the back and shows normal wear/age. The scabbard fittings are dent free and show minor wear with scratches and plate lifting. The lower scabbard fitting is loose to the touch. It has the scalloped edges and the staples on the back are securely in place.
