Brass hilt fittings show wear/age to factory finish with 90% of the matte, gold factory gilding remaining on the highlights and within the recesses of the dove head, oak leaf embellished backstrap, knuckle-bow and ferrule. Crossguard with small winged eagle on the obverse. Black celluloid grip is perfect with no cracks, chips or surface damage, and is complete with triple aluminum wire wrap. Plated blade grades EX++ showing only faint age but, no graying, lifting, pitting or nicks to cutting edge and no damage to the blade tip. Blade is complete with a brown leather buffer pad. Sacbbard paints rates 95%. EX+.
