Description
A Rare Early Model 1933 Hitler Youth by Wilhelm Halbach stamped with the Halbach Christmas Tree “Solingen” TM and encircled “Ges. Geschützt” law protection mark. The blade shows age grey/spotting, has been sharpened, has the fainted “Blut und Ehre!” motto, and has scratches throughout. The hilt has some plate lifting and scratches throughout. The grip checkered grip plates have damage to the obverse plate and appears to have some type of putty/molding on the lower half where apparently the plate must have broken off. The diamond insert is chipped at the top section and missing the upper red section of insert. The black painted scabbard retains approximately 40% paint coverage and is dent free. The brown scabbard leather shows age/wear, has rivets in place, and the snap works properly.
