Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/minor age patina with portions of silver plating remaining on the background of the brass pommel and crossguard swastikas. The well detailed, feathered crossguard shows light age patina. Blue leather grip shows no surface wear or nicks, and is complete with tight double wire wrap. Plated blade measuring 28 1/4” in length grades EX+ showing no surface wear/runner marks to the flats of the blade, no lifting, pitting or nicks to the cutting edges. Blade is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad and Waffen Amt stamped below the trademark. Dent-free scabbard shows only light surface wear to the blue leather covering with one small scuff to the lower left shell, but no rips, tears or missing leather, and no damage to the leather seam. Dent-free, silver-plated upper and lower scabbard fittings show light surface wear and age patina with no damage or depressions and are complete with undamaged retaining screws. Sword is complete with integral crescent-shaped blue leather hanger, which shows only very light age/wear, but no damage to the stitching. EX+.
