Description

H. & F. Lauterjung W. – Solingen trademark.  Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light wear with reverse lower crossguard marked “No” for Nordsee.  This dagger features a nice straight blade with a sharp pointed tip, runner marks but no nicks to cutting edge.  The “Alles fur Deutschland” motto is clear on the blade.  The wooden grip fits tightly against the crossguard and pommel and has one hairline crack on the obverse side at the bottom near the crossguard and 2 hairline cracks on the reverse side, one at the top and one at the bottom near the crossguards.  The nickel-silver eagle and the enameled SA rune button are properly inset.  The dent free steel scabbard retains about 98% of its black painted finish.  The nickel scabbard fittings show age/wear with  a couple light impressions on lower fitting and ball center is slightly smashed in.
