Description
H. HERDER – SOLINGEN in a circle around the spade trademark. The nickel hilt fittings show age/wear and yellowing patina with the reverse side of the lower crossguard being marked with “He” for Hessen. The brown wooden grip has one very tiny crack near the top of the reverse side. The nickel-silver eagle and SA roundel are inset in the grip with the roundel appearing to be raised slightly. The blade has light runner marks/speckling, no chips to the cutting edge and the tip of the blade remains intact. The dent free scabbard retains 50% of its brown paint and the scabbard fittings and ball of lower fitting show wear/age but no dents. The brown leather hanger shows wear and is in EXC+ condition with the back of the clip being stamped with “DRGM”.
