Description

Malsch & Ambronn Steinbach” TM.  The blade has the dark acid etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto, very light gray speckling, no nicks or chips to the cutting edge and the tip of the blade remains in a point.  The nickel-silver crossguards show little age/wear with the reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped “Sa” for Sachsen. The reddish brown wood grip is beautiful with minor nicks to the upper edge above the SA roundel.   The solid nickel eagle and the SA roundel are a perfect fit.  The brown anodized scabbard shows a great deal of age/wear with a lot of scratches/missing paint.   The nickel-silver scabbard fittings show minor wear with the lower fitting ball smashed in and split on one side.   All four screws are in place.  Complete with a brown leather hanger and unmarked clip that works properly.   Also included is a certified letter from the previous owner of dagger stating that he got the dagger while in France from a German Officer in late Nov 1944.
