Description
Wilh. Weltersbach – Solingen trademark. A rare maker who made a limited amount of these daggers. The plated blade shows some light runner marks, speckling, and some minor nicks to the cutting edge. The tip of blade remains intact. The etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto retains 90-95% of its light gray background. The nickel-silver hilt fittings show normal age/wear with the reverse of the lower crossguard marked “Wm” for Westmark. The brown hardwood grip shows normal age/wear and has one small chip under the eagle wing. The solid nickel eagle and SA roundel are properly inset. The brown enamel scabbard retains 30-40% of its paint and remains completely dent free. The scabbard fittings show normal wear/ages, have scratches/discoloration to metal on the lower fitting, and retains all 4 screws. The lower ball only has some minor indentations on the tip. The brown leather hanger shows age/wear and the clip works perfectly.
