Description
Carl Eickhorn trademark. These short fireman’s sawback bayonets are scarce and desirable. The hilt fittings show age/wear and gray speckling but no lifting. The black Bakelite grip plates appear to be in perfect condition with rivets in place. The sawback blade has minor speckling to the chrome on both the obverse and reverse side. The scabbard retains 100% of paint, the ball appears rounded with no dents and there are no dents in the scabbard. The black frog appears in EXC++ condition with no missing stitching and is stamped in what appears to be “RBN 0/1001/0045”. The portepee is black with red and silver stitching in EXC++/Near MINT condition and has the green and silver knot also in EXC++ condition.
