F.W. HOLLER, SOLINGEN with thermometer in double oval TM. Gilded hilt fittings show very light surface wear to the highlights of superbly detailed, panther head pommel with white glass eyes, backstrap with floral motif, raised oak leaf embellished knuckle-bow, ferrule and crossguard. Langet has stylized national emblem and black celluloid grip shows light surface wear with no cracks or chips and with triple twisted silver wire wrap present. Plain, plated blade grades EX++ showing very minor wear/runner marks and no major nicks or cuts. Scabbard has been post war repainted with pitting underneath piant. Sword is complete with original Army portepee. EX+.
