Description
No maker. The blade measures 29.5” in length and is triple etched depicting naval scenes. The brass “D” guard depicts oak leaves and acorns with a folding clam shell also with oak leaves/acorns and a Naval anchor encircled in the center of the clamshell. The guard has some minor tarnishing but overall in good condition. The hilt lion’s head motif has one red and one green glass eye. The white celluloid grip has the triple brass wire and no cracks or chips. Complete with a red felt buffer pad. The black leather scabbard is in very nice condition with some of the usual scuffs and the three brass fittings are detailed with no dents and some color loss.
