Description
No maker mark. The blade rates an Exc++/Near MINT, is 9 ¾” long, has light runner marks, but no nicks to cutting edge and tip of blade remains in a point. The buffer pad is present. The alloy based, nickel-silver plated hilt shows wear/age with some spotting throughout. The dark grained stag grip plates are perfect. They are tightly secured to the hilt with two rivets. The red slot plug is in place. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard is dent free and has scratches throughout. The throat retaining screw remains intact. Complete with portepee in EXC++ condition and black frog also in EXC++ condition.
