Description
Two storks within the circular Robert Klaas and Solingen with a small cross on either side TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show wear and gray specking to the serrated pommel nut, upper/lower ferrules, and knuckle-bow/crossguard. Black wooden grip shows light surface wear/age with one hairline crack on the upper obverse between the grip emblem and upper reverse adjacent to upper ferrule. Grip is complete with bronze/copper Police pattern grip eagle properly pinned to the obverse and complete with tight silver wire wrap. Polished matte finish blade measuring 31″ in length grades EX/EX+ showing surface wear and uniform gray shadowing, but no nicks to cutting edge or damage to tip. Blade is complete with white buffer pad showing wear and some loss of color. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the repainted black enamel showing minor surface wear/scratching primarily to lower right edge of shell. Nickel-plated upper and lower scabbard fittings show light wear with no indication the background of the upper fitting design was ever darkened. All four scabbard fitting retaining screws are present and undamaged. There are no SS markings on the sword hilt or scabbard throat. EX/EX+.
