Description
Rare FRIDERICUS, SOLINGEN TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show minor surface wear to well detailed oak leaf embellished pommel, ferrule with detailed oak leaves, crossguard area, and superb chest and wing feathering. Medium-yellow, solid celluloid grip shows wear with one small chip at the base next to the ferrule and discoloration to the upper portion next to the pommel. Plated blade grades EX+ showing faint surface wear/runner marks with a few age specks on the lower obverse/reverse cutting edge and a slightly blunted tip. Blade is complete with brown buffer pad. Blade and crossguard appear to be slightly loose fitting. Dent-free, silver-plated scabbard shows age and speckling with spots of surface rust and wear to zinc oak leaf suspension bands and is complete with a single, side mounted retaining screw. EX
