Obverse ricasso features arched AESCULAP over crown and snake wrapped around pole TM. Reverse features AESCULAP – WERKE TM over distributor mark JETTER & SCHEERER and TUTTLINGEN. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show faint wear/age, but no lifting or crazing to pommel, spine or crossguard/up-turned quillon with red felt insert. Black grip plates are perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated blade grades EX++ showing only minor surface wear/runner marks and is complete with black leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 87% of the original high-quality annodization showing light surface wear/crazing on obverse/reverse and spots of light surface rust. EX+/EX++
