J. Reuleaux, Solingen-Wald and “7” inside square within double oval TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina with lower crossguard group marked, “P” for Pommern. Both Ralph Siegert’s SA book and the “McSarr” scale rate this maker a “9”. Red – brown wooden grip shows light wear and no cracks or chips with replaced silver grip. SA insert is properly inset. Polished blade grades EX++ showing extremely light surface wear/runner marks and deeply etched SA motto retains 98% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free steel scabbard shows light surface wear with post 1945 professionally repainted scabbard shell. Nickel-silver fittings show wear/age and NO depressions or damage to lower ball. EX+/EX++.
