Description
Wilhelm Kober & Co, Suhl circling a Centaur insignia over the words Gegr. 1874 trademark. The blade is personalized with “E. Voigt.” on the reverse side of blade close to the maker mark. It has the “Alles für Deutschland” motto etched and retains 98% of its frosting, light runner marks and graying/speckling throughout, and no nicks to the cutting edge. Nickel plated hilt fittings on both crossguards, the reverse of the lower crossguard has “Th” marking for Thuringen. Brown wooden grip is without any chips or nicks and fits tight to both crossguards. The nickel silver eagle and SA roundel are properly inset. The anodized scabbard shows surface wear with scratches but no dents. The scabbard fittings have normal wear/age with one tiny dent in the ball of the lower fitting on the reverse side. All four scabbard fitting screws are in place.
