BOKER, SOLINGEN with stylized “tree of life” in double oval etched TM. Early SS dagger with nickel silver fittings showing light wear to inset eagle, SS runes and grip which shows a very minor “surface” chip to the lower obverse. Lower crossguard is group stamped “I” for Nordost. Blade shows speckling and spotting with deeply etched motto retaining 98% of the light gray background frosting.  Reverse Röhm inscription has been partially roughly ground away with only the name of Ernst Röhm removed. Remainder of dedication is present and correctly applied in Sutterlin script. Steel scabbard shows surface wear with 97% of the annodization and 90% of the lacquer remaining. Dent-free nickel silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina with dent to lower ball and one minor dent to lower scabbard fitting. Dagger is complete with leather hanger and metal clip marked RZM M5/71 and OLC. One of the rarest daggers produced during the Third Reich. EX+  Consignment
