Paul Weyersberg, sword within wreath double-oval TM. Uncleaned nickel-silver hilt fittings show uniform golden age patina (appear almost gold-plated) to pommel to include swastika background, upper and lower ferrules and crossguard. Dark blue leather grip shows light surface wear with three minor nicks to obverse but no tears or damage to seam, and is complete with tight, triple wire wrap. Plated blade grades EX+ showing light surface wear/runner marks and some graying/speckling, but lifting or nicks to cutting edges and is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Blue leather covered scabbard shows minor surface wear/age with some damage to and missing leather along seam between the upper and center scabbard fittings. Nickel-silver upper, center, and lower scabbard fittings show uniform golden age patina (appear almost gold-plated) matching hilt fittings, with a very faint depressions to obverse upper fitting and complete with all flush-mounted retaining screws present. Nickel-silver chain hanger, with matching golden age patina, features 9 upper & 14 lower rings with unmarked nickel-silver clip with golden age patina, but shows no damage to connectors. Nice early example with unique golden age patina. EX+
