Description
Carl Eickhorn, Solingen squirrel holding sword TM. Hilt fittings show almost no surface wear nor age patina to pommel with raised sunwheel swastika and crossguard. Black solid-celluloid ridged grip is nearly perfect with no nicks or cracks. Uncleaned blade grades EX++ showing faint runner marks with some fainting speckling, but no nicks to cutting edges and is complete with dark brown leather blade buffer pad. Scabbard shows very minor surface wear and is nicely patinaed. Dagger is complete with very rare and valuable accouterments: the original portepee which grades EX++ and original hangers which grade EX++/near MINT. This is a truly outstanding specimen of a rare dagger with absolutely no room to upgrade.
